About the print

3-2. Coventry City had never reached a major final. Tottenham had won the FA Cup seven times and had never lost one.

Clive Allen headed Tottenham in front after two minutes and Dave Bennett equalised within seven. Gary Mabbutt put Tottenham ahead again before half time. In the sixty third minute Keith Houchen met a cross from Bennett with a diving header, which is the photograph everyone has seen.

In extra time a Lloyd McGrath cross came off Mabbutt's knee and looped over Ray Clemence. It is the only major trophy Coventry City have ever won.

Stories worth passing on, not just remembering.
