About the print
32 points. On 3 January 1993 the Houston Oilers led Buffalo thirty five to three early in the second half of a play-off match.
Buffalo scored thirty five unanswered points and won in overtime. It is the largest lead ever surrendered in the history of the league.
The Oilers had won the first two championships of the competition they started in, in 1960 and 1961, and never reached a Super Bowl in the thirty six seasons after that. In 1996 the owner, unable to get the stadium he wanted, moved the team to Tennessee. Houston was given a new franchise in 2002.
Stories worth passing on, not just remembering.
