About the print
Two years. Between a Stanley Cup final and a removal van.
The North Stars reached the final in 1991 having finished the regular season with a losing record. The owner, Norm Green, wanted the arena at Bloomington improved and connected to the shopping centre being built next door. The request was refused.
He looked at other cities, and in March 1993 the team was moved to Dallas. Minnesota is one of the places where the sport is played by nearly everyone. It got another team seven years later.
Stories worth passing on, not just remembering.
