About the print
Two. European Cups, won back to back, by a club that had been in the Second Division three years earlier.
Nottingham Forest came third in the Second Division in 1977, which was enough to go up. In their first season in the First Division they won it, seven points clear of Liverpool. The season after they won the European Cup against Malmo, and the season after that they won it again.
Brian Clough had taken the job in January 1975. Forest have never won the English league since, and nobody has repeated any part of it.
Stories worth passing on, not just remembering.
