St Louis Browns Art Print, Eddie Gaedel and the Browns, Vintage Baseball Wall Art

About the print
52 seasons. In St. Louis, and one pennant, in 1944, when much of the league was away at the war.
They shared a city and a ground with the Cardinals and were always the other team in it.
In 1951 the owner, Bill Veeck, sent Eddie Gaedel to bat. Gaedel was three feet seven inches tall, wore the number one eighth, was walked on four pitches and never played again. It is the thing the club is remembered for. In 1954 the Browns were sold and moved to Baltimore, where they became the Orioles.
Stories worth passing on, not just remembering.
