Mick the Miller Art Print, Nineteen in a Row, Vintage Black and White Greyhound Wall Art

About the print

Nineteen consecutive wins. He was the runt of the litter, born in a parish house in Ireland in 1926 and very nearly not kept.

He came to England, won the English Greyhound Derby in 1929 and again in 1930, strung together nineteen straight victories and broke world records at several distances. Greyhound racing in Depression Britain filled stadiums with tens of thousands of people who could afford little else, and he was the reason many of them came.

He appeared in a feature film. When he died he was preserved and placed in a museum, which is a strange end for the smallest dog in the litter.
